Social:

1. We could leave the present management in control, and put up with the incompetence, self-interest, irresponsibility and greed. 
2. We could hand over control to one section of humanity, e.g. the Security Council, the International Monitory Fund or other experts with their own agenda and vested interests.  What is best for them cannot also be best for us.  Although they tell us they know best, they don't; they only know what is best for themselves.  Likewise, we know what is best for ourselves.
3. Or we, the people of the world, could take on our responsibility of being in control of our own affaires.  This is the obvious choice, this is what we are going to do.

But are we mature enough?
