Presently, the economic and political institutions are controlling us and the politicians; it is we, the majority, who need to be in control of the institutions – real democracy is about us, together, managing ourselves, managing a just principled arrangement that benefits everyone, everywhere. Planet Earth will be governed, not by some of us dominating over others, but rather by all of us together, democratically. This is what we, the majority, want, and this is what we are going to do. The old way hasn’t worked and never will, and so we need to create a new way; a new administration, a new International Assembly that will ensure that nobody is exploited and that everybody has the means to live in peace and prosperity.
The assembly will be made up from a few of the most caring, mature and concerned people from each country in the world, for we will ensure, in a number of ways, that such people are elected. These wonderful people will be elected and will be delighted to present to the people of the world, a system that offers justice and equal status to each and every individual, to both genders, and to every race, culture, colour, creed, country, company and government in the world, ensuring that no laws will be passed that would undermine our human dignity.
We, the people of the world, would like to have a say when it comes to deciding the essential structure, character and aims of the Assembly, so we will decide to give ourselves that right. We, the people of the world, will prepare a "Package Deal" for ourselves, an agreement, settlement, or contract that will ensure that we get what we want. The International Assembly will have no authority to function or to legislate until this “Package Deal” or Agreement is endorsed by us, the people of the world.
We design it, we present it to them, and they input their wisdom and good judgment, and formulise the Agreement and then present it to us for our endorsement. Only if we endorse this agreement will the Assembly begin to function and legislate. This is but one of humanity's insurance policies that will guarantee that we the majority will always remain in control. Indeed, we will have whatever security measures we desire, to ensure that global democracy works for the entire global community.
It is important that all decisions will be made on the basis of a majority vote of all the Representatives present at the Assembly, and not by a president, Prime Minister, cabinet or government, but rather by a majority vote of all the Representatives. And all decisions will always be based on the three Universally Accepted Principles of Global Justice, Global Democracy, and the Equal Status of all People, and not on following ideologies, policies, political parties or people.
Candidates who put themselves forward for election to this International Assembly will not be allowed to advertise, directly or indirectly, to get themselves elected, as buying votes is an unacceptable distortion of democracy.
This is simply an outline, an estimation of what is likely to be acceptable to us, the people of the world, and since the International Assembly will need us to ratify it, then it is reasonable to assume that these and many other guarantees are the type of assurances that we are certain to receive, for after all, it will be designed and ratified by us, the majority.
