Care and Share has been designed to make it easy for you, and for everyone on the planet, who would like to lend a hand to those who are in great material need. With Care & Share you can do this in a way that satisfies your own need to know that 100% of what you give will arrive safely and will be put to use in a way that will really make a difference. In addition to that, you get a feedback on how your gift helped a community or an individual.
The Way Care & Share Works
Development Agencies like Concern and Oxfam throughout the world are invited to register with PPP so that those who work for them, among the poorest of the poor, may email PPP with a request for something specific, as for example, a water pump, pens or books for a school, a computer, an X-ray machine, a specific medicine, or whatever is urgently required. All there requests will be posted on line on yestoppp.org so that individuals, schools, companies or organisations may, if they so wish, decide to donate a specific item, from the list of “Items Required”.
They email PPP who organise the transportation from the donor to the local office of the Development Agency. The Concern or Oxfam worker, who requested it, will get the item to where it will be put to use and she or he will report by email from time to time on the successful outcome of the gift.
The transportation will be paid by PPP using money donated by companies specifically for this purpose, so that those in most need around the world may receive help more easily. Some donors, like schools, for example, may decide to help a specific community, village, school or hospital on an on-going basis, but of course that is entirely optional.
PPP will not ask anyone or any organisation to avail of this provision to help those in most need, nor will it advertise to encourage people to help, for giving of this nature should come from the heart, and not from advertising pressure. This is but another PPP way to facilitate mankind as we search to make this world a better place for all to live.
