PPP Overview:
Planet Earth is our home. Unfortunately, it is overwhelmed with difficulties because it lacks guidance, leadership and authority; it lacks also a form of government that works. Every company, club, school and organised group in the world has a form of government that works, but the planet itself has none. The solution to this situation, described in detail below, is inspired by two principles – Justice and the Unity of Mankind; it creates full-employment and eliminates poverty, and it is realizable.
Unhealthy Economics has a detrimental effect on Politics Presently we have an economic system, not based on reality or real Justice but on fantasy (credit) and the age-old natural process of the survival of the fittest, and a political system, not based on the Unity of Mankind, but on the primitive concept of might is right. Both are unhealthy, unjust, undemocratic and don’t really work.
Global income distribution confirms this appalling reality; 94% of world income goes to 40% of the global population, only 6% of global income goes to 60% of the people of the world. Today, the hundred richest people in the world earn the same amount of money as the two billion poorest. According to those who know best, 12 million people die as a result of poverty each year – about thirty four thousand a day – (a football stadium full) fail to survive – our economic system kills them, simply because they are poor.
This unhealthy economic system has a detrimental effect on our political system. Detrimental, because business people cannot spend all they earn in business, so they reinvest it, while borrowing more – becoming even richer and more powerful – leading to a harmful concentration of capital, wealth and power. The influence of these (business) people over national and international issues is undesirable. Many decisions taken by politicians are influenced more by corporate gain than by what is for the common good. Rich and powerful people determine the fate of countries, and rich and powerful countries determine the fate of the world. This is extremely unhealthy. Our economic/political system leads to the rich becoming richer while the poor become poorer, and more numerous; by clinging to it, we are failing abysmally to solve almost all of our problems:
Extreme Poverty / Unemployment / War / Terrorism / Genocide / Refugees / Famine / Disease ... especially Aids / Child Labour (246,000,000 children work for almost nothing) and Child Prostitution / Nuclear Bombs (38,000) / Unfair Trading / Crippling Debts / Lack of Education / Global Warming / Pollution / Deforestation …
Truly the list could go on and on. This appalling lack of government and the daily worsening catastrophe that it is causing can and must be brought to an end by you and me – by us, the people of the world: people for world peace and prosperity. ppp.
An Economic System that Works Now, let’s look at an Economic System that works – that creates Full-Employment – that transforms our present economic system into one that benefits every government, company and individual, be they rich or poor. Each year, companies use more and more machines, but fewer and fewer people to produce the turnover that they require. The Ratio between the Turnover (their Sales) and the Number of Employees, is getting smaller and smaller each year. There are enormous advantages to increasing the Ratio until everyone is involved in the process. Therefore, the solution is to increase the Ratio each year until everyone is employed. There will be a mandatory 2% annual increase in employment based on turnover until everyone in the world has work. Because of the extra employees (an added 2%) the cost will be increased by 2%, but because of the lower tax (lowered by 2.2 percentage points) the cost will be reduced by a little over 2%, thus reducing the overall cost of employment. For every 2% increase in employment, there will be a 2% decrease in the time spent at work, so all people will gain. Governments will lose out on one Tax, but gain on many others: Income Tax, (as more are employed); VAT (as we buy more); Corporation Tax (as we make more profit); and many others, in addition to that they will save on unemployment assistance, and in many other ways. Overall, Governments will gain significantly. This will cause the economy to boom – thus increasing employment by an additional 2% or 3% making full-employment possible in 6 to 8 years. The same amount of work will be done, but by more people, working shorter hours. The consequences are absolutely mind-boggling; the human race will advance towards astounding levels of prosperity, dignity and freedom.
Phase 1: Moving towards World Peace – peacefully and democratically We have a practical, two phase, step by step realization plan to achieve World Peace and Prosperity. Phase one is to present our line of reasoning to the people and politicians of the world until they realize the necessity to vote in all local, national and international elections, and to vote only for those candidates who are totally and publicly committed to this Plan for World Peace. In election after election, we will continue to do this, until the Majority of the Members of Parliament in the World are in favour of this plan for World Peace. When that happens democracy gives us, the People of the World, a mandate to move forward to phase two.
Phase 2: A Form of Government that Works - The setting up of a form of Government that works – an International Assembly – an Assembly of Representatives: representing the People of the World – a New World Confederation, that will not become a Super State or federation but bring us just Balance of Power in the World. All National Governments will remain autonomous, independent and sovereign. We, the People of every nation in the World, will elect one, or more than one, representative, depending on the population of that nation. These Representatives, on our behalf, will form an Assembly and declare World Peace. It will have the authority to make all the necessary international decisions to ensure that International Justice and Peace is maintained. Having been elected it will spend the first year preparing a “Package Deal” which must bestow Justice on each and every person, on both genders, on every nation, race, religion, culture, colour, class, company and government in the world. The Assembly will then present the treaty or agreement to us, the citizens of Planet Earth. If we, the people, endorse it, then, and only then, will the New World Order and World Peace be established. The New World Order will ensure that people are empowered to develop, not just in a material or economic sense, but educationally, emotionally and spiritually, as we search to live life more fully, in peace with ourselves and in harmony with others – humanity will then develop in ways that are unimaginably beautiful, when everybody can live to his highest potential.
